Blood Donation We held our first pet blood donation session on Saturday 14th July 2007 in conjunction with The Pet Blood Bank. Donor dogs had to be between 1 and 8 years old, over 25kg, have a good temperament and must have never travelled abroad. We held a second session on Sunday 14th October 2007. The two photos below are of blood donor Reefer while giving blood and with owner Mr Hodder and Forest staff. The third photo is one of Mr Hook with 'Austin'. On first drive Austin couldn't stay still enough to give a useful donation and he was scared of the clipper noise! Mr Hook has spent the last three months taking Austin into the bathroom with him when he shaves and practising lying him on his side. This blood drive Austin successfully gave a full donation.
